The PetroChina Dushanzi Petrochemical Tarim 1.2 million tons/year Phase II Ethylene Project achieved successful first-feed commissioning, marking the official commissioning of China's first ethylene plant with fully electric-driven compressors using indigenous technology. Shanghai Nancal Electric Co., Ltd. overcame multiple technical bottlenecks and successfully developed ultra-large capacity, high-reliability medium voltage drives for the million-ton-class ethylene plant. This solution can be applied to both new million-ton-class ethylene projects and retrofit upgrades of existing units.

Nancal Electric successfully co-organized the 10th National Petrochemical Electrical Technology Conference 2026, where it delivered a technical presentation highlighting the core value of its high-reliability medium voltage drive solutions for energy saving, carbon reduction, and safe operation in the petrochemical industry. To date, the company has delivered over 200 water-cooling medium voltage drives.
