The company specializes in R&D, production, and sale of power electronics such as Medium voltage AC drives, Medium voltage soft starters, Low voltage industrial AC drives, Low voltage Power quality products, including Active Power Filters and SVG, having CE, ETL, and SIL certification.

1997

The core team successfully debugged an imported medium-voltage VFD at Robicon.
2003

The core team established the Shanghai factory of Robicon.
2005

The core team founded Shanghai Innovation Power Electronics R&D Co. Ltd.
2006

The core team has developed domestic vector control medium-voltage VFD.
2009

The core team led the localization research and development of the medium-voltage VFD for the 20MW Electric Drive Compressor Unit Project of the National Energy Administration.
2011

The core team led the development of the first domestic water cooling MV VFD (25MVA) in China and the drive passed national approval.
2012

The core team led the successful operation of the first domestic water cooling medium-voltage VFD (25MVA) at Gaoling Station of the West-East Natural Gas Pipeline Project.
2014

Shanghai Nancal Electric Co., Ltd. was established.
2015

The core team won the China Machinery Industry Science and Technology Special Award.
2017

Nancal Electric was approved as a Shanghai High Technology Enterprise.
20MW variable frequency and power quality integrated device (patented technology) passed national approval.
2018

An imported VFD was replaced by NC MVVF in Lushan compressor station of the West-East Natural Gas Pipeline Project.
25MVA NC MVVF was successfully put into operation in Guangzhou compressor station of the West-East Natural Gas Pipeline Project.
NC EVFD was successfully put into operation in the cold rolling production line of a stainless steel factory in Jieyang.
2019

NC MVVF was successfully put into operation at the first station of the China-Russia Eastern Natural Gas Pipeline Project in Heihe.
2020

Nancal Electric obtained the second-class prize of Shanghai Advanced Science and Technology.
2021

Nancal Electric was approved as a Shanghai Specialized and Sophisticated enterprise.
The NC MVVF passed the factory acceptance test as the world's largest capacity 130MVA MV VFD (March 2022, searched by ISTIS).
Nancal Electric was approved as a Shanghai Young Tech Giant enterprise.
2022

The 10kV/11MW four-quadrant NC NVVF was successfully put into operation.
NC NVVF was put into operation for 40MW Compressor Test Bench Project.
The general manager of Nancal Electric was selected as a Outstanding Technology Leader in Shanghai.
NC MVVF was successfully put into operation in Natural Gas Transmission from Sichuan to East China Project.
NC MVVF developed for the HTGR Main Helium Circulator Project passed national approval as the first domestic MV VFD in China.
NC APF were exported to the USA with ETL certification.
The manufacturing center of Nancal Electric is expanded and the new plant is in use.
