Nancal Electric Continues to Win Pipeline Project Bids, Facilitating the Upgrade of Medium Voltage Drives for the National Pipeline Network

Recently, Nancal Electric has secured bids for medium voltage drive projects at the Kongquehe, Turpan, and Guangzhou stations of PipeChina, contributing to the ongoing upgrade of compressor electric drive systems.  

Among these, the Kongquehe and Turpan stations involve the replacement of existing medium voltage drives from other brands. Leveraging extensive successful experience in high-reliability process industries such as nuclear power and chemical engineering, Nancal Electric has adopted advanced technologies, including redundant control system design and Low Voltage Ride Through, significantly improving overall performance indicators, particularly reliability, to ensure the continuous operation of compressor units.  

The Guangzhou compressor station will feature new equipment. The new compressor unit with electric variable frequency drive will operate in a "2-operation and 1-standby" configuration alongside two existing units.  

Since 2009, Nancal's core team has been involved in the localization of key equipment for long-distance pipelines and was the first in China to achieve the replacement of imported medium voltage drives with domestically produced ones for 20 MW-class compressor stations on natural gas pipelines. Nancal Electric has provided highly reliable products for major national projects such as the China-Russia Eastern Gas Pipeline, the West-East Gas Pipeline, and the Sichuan-East Gas Pipeline.
