1. A Packaging Factory in Pakistan
A major packaging factory in Pakistan has experienced persistent challenges due to voltage fluctuations and unstable power quality. These issues have led to significant equipment wear and reduced production efficiency. Following thorough testing and analysis, it has been determined that the factory's packaging machinery, printing presses and automated conveying equipment are the primary sources of harmonic generation. This, in turn, is contributing to the exacerbation of power grid pollution.
1.1 Customized Power Quality Solutions
Leveraging our technical expertise and project experience in the field of power quality, Nancal Electric conducted an in-depth analysis of the customer's on-site conditions and tailored a comprehensive solution using Active Power Filter (APF) devices. The solution involved the provision of five APF devices and the adoption of a centralized management scheme. The solution effectively suppresses harmonic interference, significantly improves the power supply environment, and ensures the stable operation of the production line.

1.2 Performance Comparison
Before the active power filter is put into operation, the harmonic current at a key power supply location of the packaging factory is shown as follows:

Following active power filter treatment by Nancal Electric, the total harmonic distortion rate of current was reduced to 2.405% (regarded as a significant optimization). The impact of harmonic current on the plant's production has been effectively reduced, ensuring the plant's production is consistent and reliable.

After the implementation of the project, the customer obviously feels that the production equipment runs more smoothly. The production data indicated that the number of sudden stops of the equipment on site has been greatly reduced and the productivity has been significantly improved. 2. A Textile Factory in Pakistan
As an important local textile enterprise, this large-scale Pakistani textile factory operates a significant number of textile machines, textile printing and dyeing equipment driven by VFD and medium-power compressor systems. In recent years, the factory frequently suffered from voltage fluctuations, equipment malfunction, control system restart and other problems, which seriously affected the production beat and lowered the product quality.
After testing, it was found that there were a large number of harmonic disturbances and voltage flicker problems within the plant, mainly caused by non-linear loads such as textile units and large motors with frequent starts and stops.
2.1 Customized Power Quality Solutions
Relying on its rich practical experience in power quality solution in the textile industry, Nancal Electric quickly sent a technical team to the site to investigate and design and deploy the relevant solutions based on the actual operating conditions:
Installation of active power filters (APF) for real-time filtering of major harmonics;
Reasonable arrangement of access points for centralized management of key electricity loads;
A total of 4 sets of APF equipment are deployed in this project to realize the precise solution of the workshop.

2.2 Performance Comparison
After the treatment, the harmonic level has been reduced significantly to meet the relevant power quality standards and the power supply environment has been significantly improved. Voltage fluctuation range has been effectively controlled, the power grid operation is more stable. The number of equipment malfunctions has been significantly reduced and the stability and continuity of production line operation has been greatly improved.
2.3 Customer Feedback
Upon project completion, the textile factory reported significantly smoother equipment operation, improved fabric quality, and enhanced control system stability. Nancal Electric has won high praise from the customer for its reliable products and professional service.
