2024 Shanghai Power Supply Society Annual Academic Exchange Conference and Shanghai Nancal Electric New Technology Briefing were successfully held in Shanghai Lingang recently. The conference was hosted by the Shanghai Power Supply Society, organized by Shanghai Nancal Electric Co., Ltd. and co-organized by the Inverter Power Supply and Power Transmission Committee of China Power Supply Society. More than 40 experts and scholars in the field of domestic power supply, as well as representatives of enterprises, attended the meeting. Notable attendees included Prof. Cai Xu, President of the Shanghai Power Supply Society, and Prof. Yang Geng, Chairman of the Inverter Power Supply and Power Transmission Committee of China Power Supply Society.
At the conference, Prof. Zhu Wei delivered a keynote speech on “Key Technology of High Reliable and Large-Capacity Medium-Voltage VFD”, which introduced the latest R&D achievements of Nancal Electric in the field of large-capacity electrical drive; Prof. Cai Xu delivered a keynote speech on “Concepts, Technological Paths and Empirical Evidence of Mains-Powered Wind Farm”, which introduced the key technologies such as self-synchronous voltage source structured network control of mains-powered wind farms, as well as the engineering applications. Experts from various industries engaged in-depth exchanges and discussions on new power conversion technologies, advances in electrical drive technologies, and smart energy in response to the content of reports.
Before the meeting, the participants visited Lingang Manufacturing Base of Nancal Electric to gain a visual understanding of the key technologies and manufacturing process of large-capacity medium-voltage VFD.
