Nancal Electric Named Outstanding Supplier for Tarim Phase II Ethylene Project

On September 23, the commendation ceremony and completion settlement progress meeting for the PetroChina Dushanzi Petrochemical Tarim Phase II Ethylene Project was successfully held. Shanghai Nancal Electric Co., Ltd. was named an Outstanding Supplier.

The commendation covered six categories of suppliers: rotating equipment, static equipment, instruments, electrical, complete equipment, and materials. Only three companies were selected in the electrical category. This honor recognizes Nancal Electric's outstanding product quality and technical service capabilities.

The Tarim 1.2 million tons/year Phase II Ethylene Project is a key project under China's 14th Five-Year Plan. It has built China's first fully electric-driven three-machine ethylene plant using indigenous technology. Nancal Electric provided a complete ultra-large capacity, high-reliability medium voltage drive system solution for the project, delivering more than 20 sets of medium voltage drives in total, covering the medium voltage drives for the fully electric-driven three-machine ethylene plant and supporting medium voltage drive equipment for multiple key process sections. Since the project was put into operation, Nancal Electric's medium voltage drives have performed well, providing reliable assurance for safe and continuous production of the plant.
